The legendary Britax 'Erin' Marathon� convertible car seat is renowned for safety, comfort, and convenience and for the ability to keep your child in a harnessed child restraint up to 65 pounds. Also avaliable in Ashley Floral, Cowmooflage, Granite, Houndstooth, Luau and Onyx.

Unique features including a sculpted base, push button release LATCH system with patented Versa-Tether�, and built-in vehicle belt lock-offs, make a tight installation in your vehicle quick and simple.

The tangle-free polyester 5-point harness helps to effortlessly secure your child every day. The Marathon� also offers a patented HUGS� system, belly pad, and a plush & washable seat cover for that ultimate comfort experience for children rear-facing from 5 to 33 pounds or children forward-facing from 1 year old and 20 to 65 pounds.

Product Features

The Five-Point Polyester Harness, with strong no-tangle polyester webbing, fits snugly over the child's shoulders, collarbone and hips providing a more secure fit as your child grows. Versa-Tether� is patented by Britax, for the most security in both forward and rear facing installations.

The Marathon now has modified EPS (Expanded PolyStyrene) foam insert to increase available shoulder width room. The Marathon already offers the widest width for any harnessed childseat up to 65 lbs. and the new optional insert will increase the shoulder room by another 1.5 inches.

The Patented "Floating" HUGS System is designed to better distribute webbing loads to reduce head movement and minimize the chance for webbing edge loading on the child's neck in the case of an impact. In addition, it is designed to reduce the chance of improper positioning of the chest clip.

Built in Lock-Offs, both forward facing and rear facing, are designed for easy reach and operation when using traditional belt routing.

Four different shoulder harness positions will accommodate the taller child and the newly designed base allows for a more secure fit in most autos.
