 Our story and our dream for this business began in 2002 when our daughter was just six months old. She was diagnosed with positional plagiocephaly (or flat head syndrome as it is also known) and her physician encouraged us to concentrate on her development with “Passive, active and interactive” means. I don’t think he realized at the time that his advice would be taken to heart so profoundly as we endeavored to do everything in our ability to do just that. In our search for good quality developmental and educational products, we fell in love with the wooden developmental toys by Plan Toys and in late 2002, opened a retail store with the full Plan Toys range. Our heart and soul is (and always has been) the wooden developmental toys, but we were delighted to add to these with a great selection of other fabulous products of equal quality. Our daughter still has annual check ups but we are happy to say that she has simply thrived and is a delightful child who loves to learn and who has thoroughly enjoyed learning through play with these products. We hope that we can share the message with others on the importance for each and every child of passive, active and interactive play. We are now very excited to launch our website and help to make these fabulous products more accessible to other families across North America and Canada. We have aimed to keep our site simple and uncluttered to help your shopping experience with us.
